£500 buys a NSR that's a project.

Why are you putting off doing the training for your unrestricted A license?

Restricting an import NSR would be hassle and would destroy the value. If you want a restricted bike then you buy a restricted bike.

How much did the insurance set you back?

Yamaha YZF and KTM duke do not reach 85mph.

I'm getting close to saying "am oot". Laughing

Logic does not seem strong in this one! Laughing

Is the OP old enough for an A licence? If so why have we had two pages wasted on another thread talking about A2? As someone else said the bikes and the difference in size and weight between what you take an A2 test vs an A test on are likely negligible/identical.

If OP is under 24, and it won't be worth doing A2 if she's 23 already (less than a year to wait) then the only reason for not doing A2 and passing the A1 test is because they are happy with riding a small economical bike like the SR.

The OP seems to think different bikes will fix all her problems with everything from confidence to ability to preparing to take training and or tests.

The only fault I can see anywhere in this thread is nothing to do with Batteries and everything to do with Attitude and the huge bucket of sand OP's head is stuck in.

If I was OP and had read Grrr's post of wake up and realise the seriousness of her situation and possible consequences, I'd have been shocked, and embarrassed and also glad to have it spelt out that I need help, training and more practice under supervision urgently, as not doing so as a 1st priority could have massive unwanted implications otherwise.

Yes they are old enough for a full unrestricted A license.

Doing A2 training would be a waste of time when she will want to do A training at a later date.

You can lead a horse to water and all that.

I've been out for a while. Told not to buy another 125, told not to buy a 2-stroke, buys a 2-stroke 125.
