There will be a new Rocket 3:

A 2.3-litre Euro4-compliant triple, aimed squarely at dominating a larger portion of the American market. I think it could be a huge hit, depending on the price point.

I was in Germany the other Saturday and visited what now is a Suzuki dealer but up until recently was a Triumph dealer in Darmstadt, close to where I was staying. The owner of the showroom said that Triumph had not made it very easy to be a dedicated dealership as they wanted it to become more of a 'boutique' environment and all premises had to be a certain size, decor and look. The ex-Triumph dealer decided that he could not invest that sort of money into a business that was already quite difficult to survive in,so had to change franchise or go completely under.

Now there is not a Triumph outlet within 100 kilometres or so of that town.

They're all going a bit like that though. The local dealer I was chatting with the other day said he'd dropped Yamaha for that reason, and Honda did the same thing some years ago.
