Ok,got it running,not well,but it's running.
Took the rear drive off to check out the splines.
Not good. Anyone know where I can get a new shaft and final drive, please,as these have had their day. One more wheelie,or holes hot from the lights, and I think it's goodnight Irene for them!

Motorworks or ebay. Worth buying a copy of practical sportsbikes and checking the adverts in the back for an engineering shop that may be able to do something with your existing parts.

It isn't going to be cheap.

Ok,I found a replacement spline that welds onto the existing shaft for £53.00. Another final drive is £150.00. I found a site called Motobins.
Thanks.

Common fault on K's
I fitted one of those spline repair kits to my K100RS
Luckily I caught it in time before the final drive splines got chewed up
Did it myself, dunno what a shop would charge.

Looked on 'bins' site out of interest and it says they're £55 or £66 with VAT

You want to be familiar with Motobins, Motorworks and the James Sherlock
sites when hunting for spares
