AJS Cadwell

Has anyone on BCF got or had an AJS Cadwell 125. I know its a Chinky but is it a 'typical' one, questionable electrics/zero spares/paint and chrome dropping off or is it actually worth buying ?.

Well, I know 2 peole, one with a Cadwel the other a Tempest, they seem happy. AJS in their chinese import & rebrand incarmation have been around for well over 10 years now. They have for a long time had the reputation of being a good marque. Their current125 range is based on Jianshe/Yamaha technology.

I think AJS should be half decent. Not so long ago I used to work on the haulage side of a warehouse that held AJS and Mash bikes.

The AJS bikes some old fart used to come and check all the new stock over and if he found faults would cannibalise others to sort out them out. Like some kind of pre-PDI, PDI.
