https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/bike-theft-hammer-attack-hayes-london-hijacker-video-metropolitan-police-a8920771.html

PSA: Do not tell PC Plod that you used your car (or any other type of vehicle) to smash the bikelife off the stolen bike.

They don't need to know details like that and I expect that most policeman officers don't want people to tell them details like that.

I would be most interested to see what the legalities are.

There's many possibilities as to what the offence might be. Assault, dangerous driving, ABH, attempted murder, etc etc.

Fuck knows why @MotorcycleTheft put the video online saying they smashed the car into the bike. Rolling Eyes

That's only a small part of the story. The defence is the rest of it, and that's the interesting part.

Unfortunately, seeing a bikelife pos steal a bike isn't a defence for deciding to chase after them and crash your car into them.

The fact the bikelife thief isn't going to come forward can't be a bad thing for the driver but I've no idea what, if any, difference that will make.

More guesswork here, it might be some defence to say that smashing into bikelife was a description of the impact rather than meaning it was a deliberate premeditated action.

Making a video confession where he says that he chased after bikelife and then smashed into it was a really fucking stupid thing to do.

We'll have to wait and see how this plays out.

I really really do not know what to say about this.....

Mother stabbed in the leg while walking with toddler son in pushchair.

https://home.bt.com/news/uk-news/mother-stabbed-in-the-leg-while-walking-with-toddler-son-in-pushchair-11364369009724

It says in there it could be a gang initiation or a bungled robbery.

I know there are people on here who won't agree but all this 'circumstances of where you are brought up' or 'no chance of prospects' softly softly approach don't seem to be working.

Will he get a jail sentence for using a knife when caught or a slap on the wrists?

Diane Abbott said “West Indian mums will go to the wall for their children.” I presume she meant the hole in the wall to get cash out so they could go buy a knife and go stabby stabby people. Whistle

What a shithole of a country this place has become. Crying or Very sad

You're right the softly softly approach isn't working at all we need some real deterrents.
