Anyone know where I can find some cheap folding mirrors to fit a 2013 CBR500R? Perfect case would be mirrors that snap into place like the ones on the Ninja 300, R6, and S1000RR (lol the only bikes I know have mirrors that do this).

Any mirrors will do from any bike as long as you can fold them and they won't come loose.

If you loosen the stock CBR500R mirrors to become foldable, they just become too loose and flap about.

With that in mind, maybe I can find some cheap universal ones that fold but I dunno how far apart the holes are for the bolts. Anyone know?

Tbh if there was some kind of a hack to tighten the mirror enough so that it would be foldable but at the same time prevent it from loosening itself any further when you fold it in and out, that'd also be an awesome option. Anyone know any tricks for this shit?

I had one of them for a bit, the mirrors were the original ones and they folded in when I needed them to and also back out. They were never loose and actually quite well positioned too. I guess there's a problem with yours?

Don’t need mirrors for an MOT.

The mirrors on a lot of bikes have a series of compression washers, and or a ball bearing sandwiched between a washer with a small cut out to allow fold in/out and stay there.
I would be inclined to look at the enlarged diagram on cms to see what the pic says.
