Year Average Closing Price Year Open
2018 $65.98 $60.37
2017 $50.84 $52.33
2016 $43.58 $36.76

Maybe someone is confusing oil prices with petrol prices? I paid 54.6 cents per litre yesterday, I think that's somewhere around 40 pence. Which would make it close to a two year low

May bank holiday I'm going around the Scottish borders area with the Thundercat owners group.
When they all depart for home I'm going to do the NC500 or just see where I end up as I've booked the following week off.

At some point I'm going to book a train to calais and have a week and just see where I end up this will probably be on my own as my mate sold his bike to fund the divorce and the other mate won't go off his 'route'.

Any info on best places to go from Calais that are easily doable for camping would be appreciated.

I am currently on tour from London to Budapest. It is about 1700 kilometers. Then I plan to go to the Scandinavian countries(Norway, Sweden, Finland). I think it's gonna be a lot of fun. I travel on a motorcycle Harley-Davidson Touring: Road Glid

I hope to return to Albania/ Macedonia/ Bosnia in May or September I was out there in 1990 before the conflict, when known as Yugoslavia, a fantastic place to visit, dirt cheap, and extremely scenic and was in Albania 5 years ago but ran out of time to see it properly.
So that’s the plan.

im heading to Scotland again as theres still routes i have not done yet.
dunno whether i am taking the grom or a gonna buy a new yamaha r125 or the new yamaha r3
or jump back on a gsxr 1000 k8 (would rather a k5 but cos of khan i cant bloody ULEZ!!!)

all the plans are not made yet but i do know the grom felt most relaxed but then again so did the gsxr 1000 k5 (00 R1 was very uncomfortable when i did this), i think im very confused right now and the only thing that is certain so long as i still draw breath and am physicaly mobile and can afford it is that i will be heading to north scotland lol!

!

You know me, my vote is for one of these Thumbs Up
I will also be oop norrth somewhere this year.
More than likely after the school holidays.
My choice will be between the Honley RX3 or the Hyosung GT250R.
I haven’t quite grown the balls to tour on a 125 yet Embarassed

I did a few long day trips on the CG 125 and the Sachs 125 when I had them.
They coped well, however I didn’t have all the gear with me then.
I’m not little, plus gear might be a bit of a strain on a poor little 125.

NC 500, or a sort of version of it depending on how I feel at the time.
Either that or take in a few of the Western Isles, Skye etc.
North West of Scotland anyway.

My first tour is in May; it's a short one, from Manchester up to the Lakes via the Pennines & Bowland, then across to the west coast, around the top of the Lakes and down to Yorkshire before working back home. Two nights and lots of wiggly roads and exploring en route.

I've done countless bicycle tours around Europe and loved it, hoping on a motor bicycle it'll be just as enjoyable!

This year was a bit thin on the ground for tour reports. I hope 2020 will be better, not that I'll be doing anything Sad

BCF touring is dying.

We rode only on the back roads all of the way down as far as Mantova in Italy, just south of Verona. This was as far south as we could go with time not being on our side when we had promised others that we would stay with them in Germany and in Brugges.

It would be ideal to do a writeup of our ride this year if only p/b was operating without certain terms and conditions that I would find suitable.Just at the moment I am not able to spend large amounts of my time transferring all 4,000 pics I have on p/b into some other free photo hosting facility.
