What year, an automatic?

Check the stator first for resistance and acv outputs, check all connections and disconnect the cdi black/white wire, this is earthed to "kill" the ign.

What makes you think its the cdi?

Engine surges and refuses to rev beyond 5 k revs i wonder??

Does ign advance work ok, timing light needed for this and those red neon plug caps come in so so so handy for these troublesome beasts.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

You sound like my teenage daughter - she just bursts into the room and announces that she needs something. Then walks out again. No please, no thank you, no explanation.

I just ignore her until she asks again nicely.

Without the initial cry for help post ,this answer cracked me up and I’m still 😂

CB250T Sick

Comstar wheels. An engine that was blander than a rice pudding. Handling that was so bad the engine made sense.

Are they still in existence?

If I found one in as good condition as that at a good price, I’d give it garage space. Embarassed Embarassed .

Maybe the op should start by looking for a Haynes manual.

If he can even be bothered to reply to the answers he’s been given in this thread? Rolling Eyes
