The funny thing is during this time we were so financially poor but rich in the things money can’t buy, we wore 2nd hand clothing and shoes to school and it didn’t bother me in slightest

Charity shop or jumble sale, if it was the former then privileged Folded arms I'm haunted by early childhood memories of growing up on a council estate under the Tories, and it wasn't just being a scared child, looking back at clips online they really were bleak places.

I dunno do people really go on twitter or whatever rather than going out? Confused One piece of tech' that has killed socialising is online gaming, despite what some people think going round a friends house to play a game was a great social thing, now kids seem to go home to game online on their own Neutral

Honestly yeah I think social media has killed things a bit.

To me it's no different from your online gaming example. It's possible to fulfil a lot of social needs without every being social at all.

I guess it's different for everyone though. Some people need real-life interaction, but others are happy to do it online. Either way, I do think it has resulted in more people slobbing out at home and getting their social fix via a phone/computer screen.

What is BCF? Smile I dunno I always thought social media was an extension of being social, on nights out women people take photos to prove they were being sociable for some strange reason*. Take instagram, people don't normally post selfies from their bedsit, they're normally on holiday or going out etc..

The good old days were when I used to be able to take speed, pills and coke all weekend, dance all night and spend all day with a couple of birds fucking them cause all the narcotics meant I lasted for ages and could still troll up at work on Monday and do a full days work.
