TPO ("The People's Operator") is a moderately-well-known mobile telephone service provider, piggybacking of EE.

SMARTY is a fairly new moderately-well-known mobile telephone service provider company that's advertised a fair few times on TV that piggybacks off Three (or "3" if you prefer).

TPO has gone into receivership. They have a switchover arrangement with Smarty, which may or may not be a good idea, hence my asking...

Smarty is a coated chocolate disc usually but not always supplied in a cardboard tube.

I tend to avoid any initiative which starts with the words "The People's" anything.

It only ever leads to tantrums, power wrangling, beheadings and/or tears at bedtime.
