The theory test is easy enough as it is. The theory book and the couple of free online test should be enough (it was for me anyway) Smile

The theory test cds are well worth it.

They have all the questions, the same graphics etc as the real test. All the questions I got asked i'd already answered many times before when at home.

I got that good at it, that I could do a test in under 3 minutes and I did on the real one and got 35 out of 35.

Yes its best few quid you could spend, if you lived up here I could have leant it to you.

Only thing is the Hazard perception, you can practice for that, however they won't be the same clips, but like I said you can practice to get the feel and you'll know what to expect.

I've got my theory test on Friday. Got a copy of the book but I get the impression if you've been driving for a bit it's a skoosh.

The Hazard perception DVD I got is rubbish. Firstly you have to watch all of it to get a 4 digit code to get on to the actual tests (You can fast forward but its a pain) And then when you get to them, the mouse pointer thingy keeps disappearing. Even if you move it around the time lag means that you just miss all the hazards.

Not a good method. However, it does give you an idea of what to expect.

I think it's aimed at new drivers, that is, it assumes you haven't ever been on the road. I got the book & DVD on eBay for £20.

(Hopefully after Friday I won't be needing it, I dare say, now I've posted this I'll fail it Confused )

I have used them for both my car and bike theory test. Definately well worth the money. I can sell you mine because I don't need it anymore. £6 inc. P&P. It's the latest edition with the video hazard perception tests on aswell.

The hazard perception one looks well weird! i had a quick go of a practise one and you had to click on the amber light on the traffic light to stop, i kept getting killed by the red bus and didnt know why! All happens that quick i had no idea that the traffic light needed clicking!

I'd stop using that CD.

You don't have to click a specific area on the proper one.

You're quite close to me (Liverpool), I'll try and dig mine out if I can find it.

"Arrange a call back"

I'm sure than lots of test centres, police stations, safety camera partnerships and Action Fraud would appreciate a call back.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
