I used to think he was OK but he's a knob. Sure he speaks the truth but he's a knob.

Yeah I'd go with that.

However, he makes videos that I find riveting and essential viewing and from which I invariably learn stuff, and I do really appreciate that fact. He's an appalling character and a know-it-all, the kind of person who thinks Stephen Fry is a genius, but, amazingly, he's still many orders of magnitude less appalling than some of the blatant clueless frauds and egotists with whom he finds himself at odds. That said, it's just a typical case of the engineer who thinks he knows everything. The equivalent of a lawyer who starts a Youtube channel to rip the piss out of freemen-on-the-land, except a lot more useful.
