Hi,

I'm having a rather odd issue with my indicators on my 2005 Honda CBR 125. The indicators work fine on idle, but stop working completely after 4k revs. I have changed my relay, checked battery voltage and voltage coming from the indicators and both are fine. I have also tested to see if another relay works on my bike (from my friend's CBR 125) and the opposite happens - the indicators do not work properly on idle (they do not flash, the lights stay on) but after 4k revs, they do work normally.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what this could be before I take it to a garage?

Many thanks.

I'd be measuring the battery/system voltages at different revs. You may find your charging system is out of spec beyond 4k revs (either way, too low or too high).
Easy to test - if only to eliminate some basics.
This assumes the indicators on your bike are running off the main battery supply, else all bets are off (well, move to a mag coil).
