Hi everyone!
I'm just about to enter your community, but I've faced the problem of choosing the right bike in touring-enduro class.
For now I've ended up with two options:

- BMW F750GS
or
- SUZUKI V-STROM 650

Both have pros and cons. Personally, I've found BMW more attractive in design and power available. On the other hand, Suzuki is cheaper and more practical.

I desperately looking for some advice from you guys. Do someone own one of these or can suggest some other alternative for traveling bike?

Thank in advance!
Bohdan

If you are looking for a reliable, cost-effective travelling bike then the Tracer 700/900 is a compelling proposition. I ride the former and I love it. Others will be along shortly, but always test ride.

I like its specs and it seems more reasonable than F850gs for me as a beginner.

Why do people feel the need to post Brexit comments on threads with absolutely no relevance to Brexit?

That makes sense, bmw would be the choice if were ever to go off road. V strom or similar are tall tourers and not as capable.

Imo all of them are shit "off road" unless by that is meant gravel roads and/or roads with a few more pot holes than usual - in which case there's a fag paper between them.

I have a F650gs, the single cylinder version and it is not too bad, but could use more power. Fine on gravelly roads and tracks. It could do more offroad than I can manage.

If it was me I'd consider the Tiger if I could afford one.

Honda CB500X, I'd recommend as it's light at 195kg (curb) and has decent fuel range.
