It really genuinely is the nearest decent pub, all around there is being turned into apartments, knocked down, or boarded up. Crying or Very sad

Yeah and they don't hardly take advantage of it at all. Rolling Eyes

I tried not to be ghoulish about it. I didn't go looking for neon signs saying "The Fat Poof sat here"
I may have wondered "is this the table where Cornell got it?"
(not the actual table, obvs)

In fact I did my best to be in denial about the whole thing.
We're all ghouls, luv, else we wouldn't be in here... Laughing

Fruiters: yes I also say "dogging" (even when the client is a cat) - its just less of a mouthful than "another petsitting gig, with cat dog gerbil rabbit whatevs"

Jesus.

I was in West Brom today for work and nipped into Greggs for a sandwich. The bloke behind the counter is a spitting image of TWD Jesus. Seriously the dude looks just like him. I left my phone in the van, but if I'm over tomorrow I'll take and post a pic.

He's a 95% match. Brightened up my day by the smallest of moments, but hey they're the ones that matter.

I disagree vigorously with this...

I know a girl called Ronnie who is generally not evil...

Got out for half an hour on the bike this morning, first time I've ridden since my accident. Need to get a few more miles in as a few of us are planning a 5 day trip to either Scotland or the continent.

Even though the battery was flat, and my mate buggered up when jumping the bike resulting in a blown fuse.

CBF500

Front Brake pads replaced, then onto the MOT station for a pass and advisories on both discs (expected) and Taxed.

Oh and while I was in the financial mood I paid off my credit cards and
bunged a couple of grand into my worthless ISA.

I think I can deem my first-ever batch of homebrew a resounding success! Even if I say so myself.. No off-notes or bad tastes in it at all. Actually turned out to be a really good, if rather mild, IPA.

Spring Equinox tomorrow means getting gently hammered with friends whilst making a pleasing racket.

My tools are thus.

Pedalboard of Powah!!

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D2DJKi0WsAAjaY9.jpg

Axe of destruction!!

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D2DHt8mXQAA6yb2.jpg

Our drummer is in attendance and we'll be joined by Phil (an actual musician) and Mr Mav on vocals and electronics (he rubs a screen with his fingers and blows minds).
Dr D will be fucking shit up.
Lady T will be on percussive duties and my job is to fly like an eagle (a bald eagle....literally bald).

Should be good cos I'm playing particularly mediocre at present.

My ex boyfriend (who really was a tedious little alcoholic ginger cretin) has admitted that he plans to hijack one of my bikes and have it serviced and MOT'd. He thinks it is HIGH TIME I got my arse back on a bike. This caused me to be somewhat tearful that someone actually cared enough about me to do something for me. I think its part of his "making amends" at AA.

Can't really afford to insure them, but fuck it, if he gets one through an MOT I'll find a way.
