hi all

recommendations for lightweight summer textiles? preferably without that weird mesh inner which makes you sweat like crazy. i usually wear kevlar jeans year round (city rider) but during summer these get too toasty so would want something with a good airflow

thanks

I'm probably going to get one of these for summer

www.planet-knox.com/product/urbane-pro-armoured-shirt

it's a slimmer fit, but goes up to 5xl which they say 52-54 chest

Also currently using single layer jeans, they're expensive but I wouldn't choose anything else in summer, motolegends has a decent range

If you want a bargain, you have picked the wrong time of year to be looking at Summer clothing

I recently made the switch from RST gear to Dainese for the main reason of slimmer fitting textlie trousers, and after finding the perfect pair, i then had to find a matching jacket (i like to zip my kit together for added protection) so set about creating eBay alerts for any used Dainese jackets in my size, and grabbed a couple of very reasonably priced jackets, one a mesh jacket (£40 plus postage) and a sports D-Dry textile jacket (£55 + postage)

I still have the alerts running on eBay, but have noticed the prices rising in the last few weeks now that riding season is just round the corner

99% of my riding is 20-30mph roads so not too fussed to have the most expensive gear tbh, just some lightweight trousers
