For those of you who haven't followed the opening two rounds of WSBK, there appears to be a new kid on the block.
Looks like Jonathan Rae is no longer the biggest fish in a small pond, having had his arse handed to him on a plate in every one of the first six races.
Having been passed over in MotoGP, Álvaro Bautista seems to be enjoying himself in WSBK, winning every single race so far.
Admittedly Rae has finished second every time, but he's been nowhere near Bautista.
Obviously Rae is not liking this, so much so that he had a good go at nerfing Bautista off in the last race, didn't work though, Bautista caught him up, passed him and promptly disappeared off into the distance.
Álvaro is on the new Ducati, there are already calls for the Ducati to be handicapped, which is strange as Chaz Davies can only scrape into the top ten.
Lowes and Van der Mark are doing very well on the Yams, Sykes is not doing so well on the Honda.
If things carry on as they are doing it can't be long before Rae spits the dummy.
Looks like this year might not be as predictable as the last few seasons! ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |
