Well, actually there has been a change but unless you're climbing on it then it isn't obvious; the air is much cleaner than it used to be (talking over the course of the last half century or so), as a result the crags are "greening up" as the ecology slowly recovers and routes that used to be clean rock (because nothing would grow) are now getting slippery with green algae (or something like that). That's my excuse for struggling on some routes and I'm sticking to it . . . Laughing
