Has anyone on here got any experience with these new fangled hybrid mattresses?
Our current mattress is shot at 12 years old and we should have replaced it ages ago.
We had our eye on the Hypnos mattresses that Premier Inn use as we've both always had a good nights sleep on them, but would appreciate the experiences of people who've used these new ones - especially as they have these 100 night to 1 year warranty on some of them!

I've got one of those Simba mattresses, best one I've ever had. Temperature does seem more stable, cooler when you need it etc.
It's also a lot firmer than any previous mattress we've had, but once you get used to that it's great.
Funny story (maybe!): My brother recently got a new mattress in the sale from a Johnny Lew type store, it was something crazy like £5k reduced to £800 and the last one available. Problem was it was too big - emperor size instead of king or suchlike, making the width ok but to long to fit his existing base.
He got it home and chopped the end of it, then sewed it back together - seems to have worked for him! ____________________ Previous: Aprilia Habana Retro 50cc (beauty), Yamaha SR125 (fell apart), Honda XR125 (nippy little commuter), Honda SLR650 (Geewhizz), Yamaha Diversion 900S (Smoooooth) written off courtesy of a stupid escaped horse.
(7 year gap), BMW F650 (Relaxing ride). Aprilia Caponord ETV1000 (Big and bold). Yamaha FZS600 (got me in trouble too quick!).
Current: Yamaha TDM 900 (Comfy, light but big, power when needed). |
