Photos of your most "fuck it, it'll do" bike repairs please.
First prize is to be entirely forgotten and lost among all the old threads.

Just to leave poor old Wyberton John's help request thread in the workshop section to continue on topic Razz

Police Repeat post:

No repairs that were actually designed to impress, thank you, working (more or less) get-arounds only.

Ok. My reply from the same thread.

https://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f216/stinkwheel/gpz/gpzright.jpg

However, the single best bodge repair I've ever witnessed was when a mate went full Burt Munroe after his sidecar wheel fell off (which was highly amusing in itself because he did a showy "lightning turn" on the brakes into a parking space, there was a comedy pause then the wheel went "donk" off sideways). Happily, another mate was on hand to video the incident.

It's a rebellion against 'elf an' safe-t and the nanny state. The old days were the best, I remember when etc etc.

Whenever I see the word Mom I think Murican and expect general dumb.

I assumed a bandage shoved into a cavity was called Packing.

As a bandage applied outside would be called a Dressing.

I'm not a Nurse but I know how to play Bastirt Brag and Pontoons. Cool

I know a woman who was a bit of a minger and came from a dirty family - every village has one, just like every village has a nutter (me).

Anyway, another village woman twigged onto something: Seems this dirty smelly woman had been using the same sanitary towel for the whole of her period. It's what her mother had told her to do.
I've no idea how it was done - ringed out and reapplied??
After real life was explained to her she only smelt half as bad.

The important thing with happy cake is to find out if it's the cake itself or the icing that makes it so happy.

Last happy cake I had had happy icing which can come as a bit of a shock if you're not expecting it.

It's also important to plan for when the munchies kick in to not have more happy cake as the only thing to eat.
