hello I am a newbie on here and I am wondering if there are any bsa bantam experts out there who might be able to help me , I have a bsa bantam 175 D14/4 engine and the exhaust outlet on the barrel is 1 3/8 size and when I sent off for a new exhaust pipe when the one that came it was 1 3/4" , so is the barrel on my bike from an earlier model or are there two different sizes of exhaust pipe for the D14/4 engines. any help would be greatly appreciated

People refer to "big" and "small" bore pipes, so I guess so. The club, as above.

Apparently there is a scew in stub to mount the bigger pipe , it's to help increase bottom end power. A simple google search found that on the owners club listed above.
