Had my newly rebuilt CB125T out on the road for a shakedown run. I have fitted 142 cc barrels and Pistons, and I have reprofiled the cam to the original hi power spec. Runs quite well, but overheats when I use the higher end of the Rev range 8-120000 rpm.
Standard exhausts, but I have removed the narrow 18 mm tube from the front pipe.
I'm looking for advice on jetting, first to check is the main jet, standard at 88 but probably should be 100 based on capacity increase alone.
I'm changing the spark plugs to CR8HS
Any experience on jetting appreciated.

You've spent enough and changed enough to make 1/2hr on a dyno very worthwhile, and it'll tell you loads that you'll have no idea about from shed tinkering or random plug chops (which don't work anyway).

And a dyno run is much cheaper than buying your own wide band sensor and monitor, or damaging the engine and expensive rare cam.

Once my engine is back together and runs, I'll be doing a local 5mile shakedown run, and if it's OK still, it'll be straight to the dyno, as I've got no idea what fueling, jetting I need with the carb I'm using and the engine modifications carried out. Also if my bike is going to overheat and melt running flat out then I want it to happen on a rolling road, not when I'm tucked in down hill in 6th with the throttle cable stretched tight.
