I, like many others only noticed Guy was present when he actually passed me on the BSA, I'd be interested to find out why he was wearing a bib, tried asking around the paddock the no avail.
Also I wonder if this jostling with McGee is around the time McLean came off ? Haven't seen much since I was perched around the start/finish on Saturday.
Edit: just realised that was Cookstown! |

I'm guessing the latter, being lighter, turned in faster times - but then again the capacity of the former are bigger than a factor of two, so perhaps they make up for it on the straights? It's difficult to find comparison times across the years. Cheers. |
At the ClassicTT/Manx, where you can see both Supertwins and Lightweight 250's racing, (although not in the same races), the times are fairly similar although the Supertwins are marginally faster, over all.
But even that's not conclusive as there are so many Supertwins and a ,mere handful of 250's, so more resources are going into the Supertwins!
There was some talk last year of 2 stroke only races being reintroduced! ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |
