Annoyingly the most details articles I can find about the court case are from The Guardian so some people will instantly dismiss them but they give some indications of how the guy was preparing an act of terrorism rather than just boasting.

If assaults and stabbings are classed as terrorism now, then why aren't all these other "protesters" being locked up for terrorism.

If you don't have it then we can assume that it was another journalist making it up like many reports from courts. One of their favourites is claiming the person in the dock is smirking at sentencing.

Do you not think that it was a figment of journalists imagination, do you not think there would be a fuss being made by his solicitor and his supporters who were in the court room?

We only see what the judges have to say about it and they've managed to cram in some trite comment about an attack on democracy.
If you think there's any new information then quote it for us.

It reminds me of the Raul Moat incident where the details were sparse.
