Some cheap polarised sunglasses to wear whilst running. No more squinting for me!

I've been catting for some Morleys BBQ chicken wings for weeks now, and been going past the shop on the old kent road every single evening, wanting to stop but for this reason or that, I haven't managed to do so.

Finally I needed petrol at exactly the right time to stop at the gas station under the flyover, and walked back afterwards to get myself some of that Morley goodness.

They weren't as nice as I was anticipating, I think it was yesterday's batch warmed back up, but nonetheless that didn't stop me from snorting them in less than 15 minutes when I got those babies home Laughing

I fuckin love Morleys BBQ sauce.

I reckon you're overthinking it, because I do see it as perfectly "innocent and not a problem".

When the thread first started, it was quite often "I bought this online and this In Real Life". and they were minutiae of people's life. It's interesting BECAUSE people post random stuff about their hobbies and/or fetishes.

Admittedly, "I bought another Cheeseburger Pizza from Dominoes" might get a tad tedious in that Jesse's Diet kind of way. But the spirit of the thread (for me, at least) has always been about the diversity of things that people bought.

a 5th helmet en route from a few nights ago that I failed to mention now Chickenstrip has given me a bad case of buyers guilt Crying or Very sad .
It may be a second Shark Speed-R which may have been dispatched today but these reports are as yet unconfirmed.... Laughing

Have you had a test ride in it -- or will you -- before doing your trip?

My Skwal had a visor that didn't really ever want to close properly and the local J&S guy tells me Shark replaced the helmet mechanics in some way when complaints were made because the visor is so hard to remove. J&S Sales advised the S700 and S900 (models lower on the scale and cheaper in price) before I got distracted by the lights on that model long ago. I've dumped it since, mind.

I'd test wind noise on NSL and opening and closing while returning/exchanging for different model is an option.

Not to dampen your new purchase but advise of things to keep an eye on. Thumbs Up

New kitchen flooring, just some felt backed lino but it looks ok.
I can fit carpets but I like to leave lino to my brother as he's been a carpet fitter for nearly 40 years.

Cheers for the feedback. I bought it because a pal of mine has gone one the same and likes it and it fitted nicely. I had a previous shark (speed R Carbon) which was great apart from a stupid visor clip design until I dropped it so decided this was worth a shot. I'll check out the visor carefully when I get it and make the first ride up the duallie without ear plugs. The Speed R was pretty quiet but the LS2 I'm using just now is awful.

Fish and Chips in Harpenden, nicest I've had, and then a 30+mile ride on the vanvan back home, via Luton and the A6

didn't do my usual back roads, cos too many roads had loose chippings

Shoei NXR in matt black -
https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/product_images/shoei_nxr_matt-black.jpg

£150, "second hand" but never been used on a bike - in immaculate condition as befits something that's not been used.

Turns out some mice/rats have been at my old one, I find out Tuesday evening at 11:30pm with a trackday Wednesday evening!

Seems to be decently light with nice visor mechanism etc, so happy with that.

I just bought a Shoei GT Air. Really nice lid, and very happy with it too.

Due to me using the cheapest shipping option, my purchase will be "Arriving: Thursday, June 6 - Wednesday, June 12". Sad

That reminds me - I have some ' I love c*ck' stickers somewhere.

A rear Acerbis led tail unit for the bike. Old one has become unreliable - must be breaking down internally.
