I still remember when mine died, I was devastated. You somehow think they will always be there for you.

Best wishes mate, I hope you have loads of good memories. Thumbs Up

Mine is still around after a scare or two, but I'm dreading the day as mums are normally the glue that sticks a family together.

Sorry for your recent loss Skudd.

UK police stance on various matters.

That look where they shove their hands in the arm holes of their stab-vest.
If I did that to a PWC I'd probably get lifted.

🤔😕

Been there since 7am probably without a break...

My mother is a presiding officer for a polling station, it's hard thankless work.

How about this for spooky - Just had a phone call from him - he has bought an H2C in purple and needs a lift with it this weekend!!!! Looking forward to doing a GT/H2 old gimmer's road test this summer. I'll make sure my affairs are in order beforehand....

If you're going to have a collection of old smokers, the H2 really has to be in there as the ultimate from that period. Bet he paid a few quid for that!

Can you get some pics of his collection? Smile

And you ought to try to get to ride them all, and post up about it here somewhere, do a mini series Cool

He's unlikely to want a pic of his garage ont'net for obvious reasons. Once the H2 is on the road I'll see if he'll allow a pic of that and the GT together, somewhere scenic...

Woke up in a lot of PAIN (from Monday's gardening)

Found out the OLD STREET roundabout in London is now 2 way.

Bloody overnight driver picking up MY FARKING package to High wycombe by mistake.

Then things really went downhill.

I pulled a muscle in my back a while ago. I was prescribed some co-codamol tablets 30mg/500mg paracetamol, used them all up and can't get to sleep without them now. Pain is gone but body is used to co-codamol. The off prescription co-codamol/paracetamol is wank. Piss poor low grade shit that does not work. I need the good stuff. GP has said "Fuck off Darren, you don't need it*". Bitch.

Apart from the road works on the south east side that has been causing congestion for the last couple of months or the articles in the London press.

I signed up to a recruitment agency in 2005 to try to find some temp work in my industry before my full time position started, they found me six weeks of work as a stopgap in between me qualifying and starting full time.

Up until about four years ago I had heard nothing from them at all then I started to get the occasional email with jobs. Then the odd phone call. Now the more frequent and pushy phone call telling me that they have sent my (14 years out of date) CV off to a company and they want to speak to me. I'm blocking all of their numbers but they keep calling me on mobile numbers now despite me asking them to leave me alone.

Also earlier I heard the WhatsApp ding. My phone in on silent, it came from somewhere upstairs, there is nobody else in the house and there hasn't been anyone else in my house for a couple of weeks. I am a tiny bit creeped out by this!

Start answering their calls by saying "you'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel".

If necessary you can also use the the trusty "what ya wearing? I'm naked" to encourage them to stop offering you jobs.

I take the meaty stuff - morphine in several varieties.
I do try to take as little as possible (so I can think properly and have a life) and doctors actually tell me to stop being a martyr and to take what they give me because they know I need it!
