Really? Was he on a different planet in April of last year then?
There are other news sources than this sub forum out there. Mind you, with the ignorant sh1te he posts on political subjects, he does sound like he started learning about politics a few weeks ago from his Ladybird books.

I don't recall much of it from elsewhere last year bar here, TBH. I don't generally catch much of the news on TV.

Not sure about that. If someone comes along and delivers Brexit they will be untouchable.

I did what no one else could. Boris would be such a smug bastard. Laughing

I'm more worried that there will be a general election and the poisonous bastards in red will get in.

I'll be selling my canal boat and buying an ocean going yacht and disappearing if that happens.

I think Labour getting in would be a good thing: every few decades ppl need reminding what a shower of shit they are, get over it and move on.

In the case of this particular mob, they are now far worse than ever before, and I don't think it would be a good idea at all.

Parties seem to have runs of having decent personnel, and it looks as though they have all currently have run out.

Sky just announced two MEP's for the Brexit party... I think you read far too much into things.

In the North-West, the liberals, labour and the Brexit party have 2/8, the cons have one, and the greens have one. Yaxlee Lennin hasn't been elected and has had an eppy & flounced. If true, the result for the BP is less than ideal.

"Tommy Robinson seems to have got 922 votes in #Burnley which is less than 2%. Tommy Robinson complains he’s lost because he’s banned from most social media #EuropeanElections2019.

Tommy Robinson just spoke briefly to the cameras and discussed the recent incident in Oldham. He then ended his short interview by telling the cameramen and media they’re all dishonest and walked off into a side room.

Manchester votes are in:

Change uk: 2,381
Conservative 3,423
English democrats: 524
Green 19,966
Lab 40,191
LD 21,041
Brexit 15,069
UK EUP: 436
UKIP 2626
Mo Aslam(Independent): 297
Tommy Robinson (ind): 271
Spoiled: 557

Since quite a few people seemed to be saying that this election was a dry run for a second referendum, it would appear that referendum 2.0 is now somewhat redundant, if you're a remainer.

The logic is that the votes for the remain party would translate to votes for remain in a second referendum. Not that difficult to understand is it?

Given you were crying last time round that UKIP got millions of more votes than the SNP and Lib Dems, and that method was so unfair, now they're translating it as an overall number of leave vs remain which is how the referendum was done, and you still don't like the answer.

The very definition of a snowflake, picking an argument where there is none to be picked.

To add to the early result referenced above, it seems to have been indicative; he got only 2.2% of the vote, lost his deposit, and was jeered as he flounced out.

In other similar news, UKIP's Batten lost his London seat, and in the South-West Carl Benjamin ("Sargon of Akkad") failed.

To add to that, Rachel Johnson and Andrew Adonis (South-West) both failed. Smile
