Should be quite easy if you know the cdi wires and what go to the coil grey and black to coil from the cdi. The best way to tell what the light wires are so you can exclude them are take the magneto off but make sure you dont miss time the engine back up. If not pm me im sure my friend who is very good with electrics can help or can give you a guide of what to do over the phone. i work shifts so may be slow reply

Pity its not a 1988 as I have a new loom for one sat here gathering dust
You could pick up a manual for a DT125lc mk3 and that should help you out a lot
