Islander the emails are real - got them 'from the horses mouth' and they're not publicly known. All spellings correct and they're arranged and laid out correctly too.
The images were resized to a very basic size - I actually think the email recipients are refusing emails that contain images for reason and that could be why. The postmaster messages fail to mention why things are returning and only state codes within their own systems which doesn't help me..
I might be on a block list with them but other emails to other departments have no problems whatsoever.

Meh - will do it tomorrow on a County Council terminal!

Are you embedding the images in the email or including them as an attachment? The latter should work, the former might cause issues.

Sending as internal should work anyway.

Failing that, send an email without images telling the recipient you want to send them and asking how it can be done. They may prefer secure file transfer.

Nah. I've decided to print the email, wrap it around a brick and tw*t the f*cker in the face with it.

I'm tired. Will do the council terminal method tomorrow.

Ripping my dvd's to the hard drive then encoding them for my kindle for months now.

Hit a brick wall today with Deep Space 9 season 3 disc 3, the disc seems to be suffering from dvd rot, I can only access 2 out of 4 episodes.

BUGGER.

Best bit is the email will tell you in the clearest text what the problem is. Could literally tell you in a split second where it's spazzing. With it being a council, it'll be either they grey list and you aren't allowed or you have the wrong address.

You've hit a nail on the head.
People don't realise that CDs and DVDs have a shelf life. I'm a semi-pro photographer and once shoots etc are done the images are processed and used. The whole file is then stored in several locations: cloud, hard drive or CD/DVD. Many will know of the costs of cloud storage and opt for a hard drive but those can fail too. Instead. they go for throwing things onto a disc..

Obviously with what I do here I have a sh*t ton of images. I'm currently going through discs which are around 9 years old and they're degrading. It's enough to slow the data transfer dramatically or even give images which have colour bars across them.

The fix?
Get some 'Archival discs'. Instead of aluminium between plastic they use gold. They have a shelf life of 200 years.
Expensive but if the need is there then you must.

That's not that warm. I'd kill for that daily. 40+ and 90% humidity, now that's warm.

Luckily the humidity here is reasonable, but still, I hate heat. That's why I never travel south.

Potassium benzoate (E212), the potassium salt of benzoic acid, is a food preservative that inhibits the growth of mold, yeast and some bacteria. It works best in low-pH products, below 4.5, where it exists as benzoic acid.

Acidic foods and beverages such as fruit juice (citric acid), sparkling drinks (carbonic acid), soft drinks (phosphoric acid), and pickles (vinegar) may be preserved with potassium benzoate. It is approved for use in most countries including Canada, the U.S., and the EU, where it is designated by the E number E212.

Potassium benzoate is also used in the whistle in many fireworks.

(that's bad!!!)
