Evening all,

I've got a week of working in Chester ahead of me, and Google maps gives me multiple options.

Anyone got any experience of the route and can advise on the best option?

A : M6 junction 16 -> Crewe -> A51 all the way
B : M6 junction 16 -> junction 18 ->A556
C : M6 junction 16 -> junction 20 -> M56 -> M53

I've all but ruled out C as it will be boring as hell, but if anyone can comment on whether the other two routes are nightmares for filtering etc then it might come back into play...

Tar.

M56/M53 are buggers for hold ups. people drive like knobs and keep on crashing. They can't drive for toffee and hold ups are usually started by two dicks not wanting to go above 60mph in lanes 2 and 3. You also get the Manchester cunts who are just that.

Tar, thought as much.

I'll probably go A51 on Monday and see how it goes. 👍

M6 junction 16 -> junction 18 Is almost invariably almost always crap !! Which will, obviously affect

M6 junction 16 -> junction 20

The A51, shouldn't be too bad, when the roads are clear, there's very little difference time wise regardless of your chosen routes.

So much this.

Go for a ride in North Wales after work.

M6 looked ropey as hell this morning traffic wise, so stuck with the A51. Was fine. Lots of traffic but lots of filtering and overtaking options as well.

Thanks all.
