The Boxer being an old helmet, am wondering if there's anything new that is much better?

Better would have a higher security rating and be quieter.

What I really like about the Roof Boxer is the ability to ride with the open face, and that's my only requirement.

To be honest, I've been happy with the Boxer and will probably buy another one if I can't find anything better.

So far I found the LS2 FF399 Valiant and the Shark Evoline Series 3, but they don't look as well built as the Boxer, and judging by the padding I'm afraid they can have too much wind noise, any thoughts on these also very appreciated.

I have a Boxer V8 and love it. Bit noisy but nowt a decent set of earplugs doesn't sort and I put up with it for the benefit of the looks and flexibility of the lid. The new one looks a bit slicker around the hinge mechanism on their website but I've not actually seen one in the flesh, other than that and the new paint jobs I can't see that much difference.
