Looking for a one piece for those times you get caught in a downpour.
Looked online and it seems the Richa Typhoon is the best value reasonable quality one.
Amazon has a few no name brands for the £20 range, any alternatives? Dont see the point in spending loads because I dont need to ride all seasons

I bought The Boy one of those Richa ones. It's fairly substantial, & so far waterproof. It won't fold down small, though. There are some at the same sort of price:

Tried about 5 pairs of “cheaper” waterproof over trousers, they all split/leaked after a couple of uses. Bought a pair of army goretex ones and so far so good. Don’t know if they do a one piece but it’s decent quality. They don’t fold down small though.

Possibly the wettest on records, it’s almost like there’s something peculiar going on, I wonder what it could be? It’s a complete mystery.

The mention of rain in the title had me reaching for the popcorn.

I can't help with waterproofs except to say that if we hadn't decimated the coal mining industry every motorcyclist would be wearing yellow NCB waterproofs on rainy days..

I spent years trying different methods to stay dry, I've gone through several pairs of over trousers, ranging from no brand to RST and every one of them have let the water in. I decided last winter to invest in Rukka and so far I've stayed dry and I have ridden in some torrential rain.

Trousers are great but what about up top, hence one piece?
I wear a leather jacket during summer which is just going to let water in

On a recent long-ish motorway trip my dairy-farmer mate wore his wellington boots and a substantial bright orange PVC work coat etc.. Claimed he was 100% dry..

You can get lightweight waterproof jackets that will go over leather or whatever.
I find getting a one piece waterproof on and off over boots and bulky bike gear is comical or nightmarish if not both, especially if it's already raining.
If the crotch leaks or the knee gets torn you have to buy the whole thing rather than just bottom half.

I was also looking for these army waterproof things...someone elsewhere mentioned they had an ex army SUIT that actually zips downs the legs for easy of putting on off they bought for £20, I had a look online but did not find anything except the usual normal trousers and jackets.

Maybe need to visit a store..?

has to be one piece for me... the gap in the middle just lets water in otherwise, so what is the point. just runs up your lap and under at the waist.

I've had a one piece HG suit for 5 or so years now and it's never let a drop in. I grabbed it free off a mate at the time, i'm 5"9 and whatever size it is would fit 6"9 tyson fury I've no doubt. but it's got little drawstrings here and there to pull various bits of it in tighter. I wouldn't be without it.

I've got the Richa one. It's brilliant at keeping you dry. The only downside is it is a bit bulky, and takes a few minutes to put on as it has a massive flap on the front which folds over itself, and then zips, and a final overlap with velcro.

It's my 16th year on 2 wheels.

I tried so many motorcycle waterproof options..

Go to a camping store in your leathers and buy breathable waterproof over trousers and top. You'll need a size or 2 bigger than you are.

I've found bike gear crap. It is crap.
