Not things I've bought but I just acquired a Milspec G19 blowback pistol and a bullet/stab proof vest.
A friend of mine used to be a firing range marshal, he's having a clear out.

After a failed attempt (mainly involving a huge amount of buyers remorse) to buy a Subaru Forester a while
ago, I finally changed the Suzuki Swift for a new more suitable ride for our UK holidays with the dog.
Only reposting to add pics.

Yeah pretty much, I'll really only get to drive it when we go on holiday. My daily is a transit connect. That said it's
more fun to drive than the Rav 4 and CR-V were and it's specced to the eyeballs overall I'm happy with the purchase,
the Mrs prefers comfort to performance and the older I get so do I. My fillings used to rattle out driving the Swift along
my road this is much kinder. The 240bhp Forester I nearly bought was faster with tons of grunt and power sure, but
had a stupid CVT gearbox which I didn't trust long term and MPG that took the piss frankly. Besides my wife thinks
anything revving above 3000rpm is being abused, the departed Swift was wasted on her, but I had a good craic in it.Laughing

The new car is not supposed to be exciting, it's supposed to be comfortable, spacious enough for my
dog and modern enough to avoid punitive emissions based charging being rolled out almost everywhere.
But already well present in London where my wife has to travel fairly regularly as she has an office there for her work
and sometimes there aren't trains early enough to suit her earlier meeting times, meaning some long old days.
So reliability and reasonable MPG is a factor hence Japanese and petrol plus creature comforts like cruise control
make her drive home a bit easier after a long day. Perfect choice for our purposes, besides not many 6 stone pet dogs
enjoy being bounced around the load space of performance cars, awesome as she is, I doubt ours is any exception.

As for the colour Mr PB, it suits the red headed Mrs Grr just fine. It's a startlingly bright colour in the sun when the
fleck catches the light and a Mazda Signature colour as it turns out. More here about that if you can stay awake Rolling Eyes .

Alumium billet 250*100* 42 which I intend to make shit with, if I ever find the motivation to cut it into useable lumps. I need a bandsaw.

Umm... I hate to be the one to say it...

That's an XJ, not an XK.
