I started watching New Amsterdam (just another American hospital drama) on Amazon Prime after I finished watching Good Omens, and am now hooked Laughing

Seeing as you're 'doing' Amazon (ooeerr missus!)... Have you tried Sneaky Pete?

Have only watched the first 2 series, just realised there's a third.

Currently watching Stranger Things 3.

A point of order (or something like that Laughing )

I have Amazon prime because of prime delivery.

Is it worth having netflix as well bearing in mind I junked Sky and went to Freesat because the costs are getting ridiculous.

Is there a lot of overlap between Prime and Netflex and if I'm patient, do they end up showing each others stuff.

Signed

A tight b@stard. Thumbs Up

personally, I think it's worth getting now tv and netflix, as and when you want them

I normally get Now TV pass for Dec/Jan

I don't use them all the time, Now TV has better offers, netflix is tighter money wise

Amazon has quite good tv, but is very, very slow to update movies

Netflix originals are pretty good, and you get movies and tv in same bundle.

on the whole, Netflix better value than Now TV which separates tv and movies, if you are paying full price

If only. I watched the first episode and it was so packed with the most obvious hospital drama clichés I couldent bring myself to watch another episode.

Ha haa, on the upside its so clichéd you could make up series two yourself.

Might i suggest in the meantime, Dead like me? Its about a girl who dies and becomes a grim reaper. Its very funny.

Yeah I'm thinking about that one.
But I've gone and got momentarily side tracked by "No more grannies" on the Crime Investigation Australia channel Laughing

Yep to this. It's quite old now, from 2003. I used to have it on DVD but am watching it again and liking it just as much as the first time round.

Equally sad, thought-provoking, creepy and funny. It's right up your street Hellkat and.....

......it's got Mandy Patinkin in it as a kind of grumpy, avenging angel,father-figure type bloke. Swoon Wub

I'm giving the End of the F**king World a go.
Watched a Black Mirror Series 3 episode, and its got the same actor in it.
Pretty good, but they haven't done a series 2 yet.

Stranger Things S3

Maybe I should have posted this in grinds my gears but I decided to put it here as a public service announcement.

A week after watching the final episode and switching off (emotionally drained) as soon as the credits rolled, I read somewhere that there were post credits scenes/teasers.

I just watched them and there is a MASSIVE hint for series 4 Shocked

Bugger, why do they do that? Grrrrrrr Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

So, when youre watching the final episode of series 3, dont switch off until you've seen the real ending.

I really got into Dead Like Me.
I've not finished it yet, but its very funny. Also had some moments that Make You Think about death, etc.

Meantime, I got sidetracked this afternoon into season 2 of Mindhunter.
Cool

Amazon Prime - The Boys.

I'm 4 episodes in and it's fantastic. Karl Urban doing his best to master a cockney accent and failing miserably. Basically it's about Superhero's living amongst us, causing collateral damage (i.e killing normal folk) and getting away scott free.

Karl Urban and his merry band of renegades set to even the score. It's funny, entertaining and a good watch.

"The Spy".
Netflix was waving it in my face so I was like "Go on then"

Not my usual sort of thing, but I want to see how Sacha B-C does straight roles.

He reminds me of Freddie Mercury.

Firefly available on Amazon prime. Dance!

Yes, it's old and yes, I've seen it before but well worth another watch.

November I think, I had a spoiler alert before the last episode and it still didn't end how I expected.
Trust, you'll see me having a moment on facebook when it's back Laughing
but I do like to binge watch them, same as Peaky Blinders - loving that they're writing 2 more seasons.
I can't make my mind up about Good Omens, I like seeing Tennant back on TV but it's a bit... although, strangely Jack Whitehall who i'm not a fan of plays well in it.

Brassic, excellent.
Jack Ryan is due back really soon also.
