Hi, I'm looking to get a 125cc bike around end of August to get to my college which is an hour ride but I don't know what would be the best as I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on one but I need something that can sit at around 50mph so I'm not causing traffic
Thanks for the help

Do you reckon they would be able to sit at around 50mph because I'd be on 50mph speed limit roads

Almost anything 125 will be able to sit at 50MPH. On 50MPH roads many things will do 60.... but that should be OK too.

Change the oil frequently and regularly. Change the oil frequently and regularly. Change the oil frequently and regularly. Change the oil frequently and regularly.

Smile Other servicing stuff too, servicing is good, and in the main uncomplicated. If you've had a bike of some sort before I guess 'll be teaching Harry to suck eggs....

You want to be much more: https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/reviews/products/security/motorcycle-chains-and-locks/tested-oxford-hardcore-xl-chain-and-padlock-review

Than:

https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/448167

Just in case...

You can spend a lot on locks and things. The need for them I think tends to vary with how desirable the think you're locking up is, and where it is.
