Any of you guys bike vloggers? I'm seriously thinking of giving it a go. Just bought a helmet cam so will likely kick off in a month.

Ah, fucking Vloggers.

Go die in a fire, eh? Preferably before unleashing more shite on to the internet.

You need to be doing something interesting for people to care.

It's the quickest easiest way to turn something so exciting, stimulating, life affirming and awesome (as riding a motorcycle is) into something dull, boring, tedious and a rant about cyclists/vans/cars/addison lee. Even people like BvG are dull when they are just vlogging. They have to make different content to be interesting, which BvG now does with 44 teeth.

My advice? Don't. Nobody wants to hear about how a cyclist rode two abreast and slowed your commute by 30 seconds.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

For a bit of info, if you watch “ itchy boots” she is absolutely brilliant on you tube, (a solo motorcycle girl going to way off places)very entertaining, compulsive viewing and comes across as a real pro.
My son expressed surprise at watching a vlogger, (as I didn’t know what one was until last week.....I’m very old you know).
You may get some tips from her.

Is it serious or just like vanity publishing with ebooks?

If serious you either need to be highly specialised - I watched a guy buy a bike in Washington state and ride it through Canada and back to Alaska - or have charisma, e.g. Mighty Car Mods.

People crave variety and entertainment. Can you do either of those?

Aye, and keep that bangin' music to yourself, too.

Vlogging - a great way of diverting your attention from the stuff that keeps you alive. Come to think of it the only vlogs I've ever watched are the ones where their yakking has caused them to crash.
