Steady, wasn't that just 48 hours ago?

And Diggs yeah Merkel is shaking like she's on the disco waltzer. It reminds me of me when i came off the pop.

I think it's anxiety. If you look at her in the latest video, she's taking deep breaths (a relaxation technique).

The German press are speculating that it's dehydration, anxiety, overwork and/or stress but it's got to be more than that. Merkel seems to be in denial about it. I think it's very sad.

Who the fcuk exactly is Gina Miller?

She seems to think she has the god given right to stick her nose in everywhere she can to fuck up Brexit and call it democracy?

She's saying Boris can't hang parliament, is she a law lord or something?

Another busy-body interested only in preserving the sovereignty of parliament and in no way interested in overturning the referendum result.

A perfect reason why we need tighter immigration control. If you don’t want to live by our ways, feck off back to South America instead of trying to over power the democratic will of the people who’ve shown you hospitality.

Probably the same level of corruption as well.

There’s a lot of talk of the ballot paper to vote for the new EU president. One candidate (Ursula Von shoe Hornedin), with a plus or a minus to put your cross against.

Not big on democracy these EU lot.

Has anyone stopped another candidate from running? Is that why Farage's limited company didn't propose one?

There were at least 2 other serious ones, Timmermans and Weber. Neither very likely to get the majority though, so they stepped back.

Fact or supposition to support your view on the EU? Source?

Who chooses the one "shoe horned in" candidate? How are they democratically selected? The vote is a farce. One option, yes or no, with no alternative option.

Unbelievable. I know you're pro EU, but trying to pretend it's a genuine democracy, is quite disturbing to say the least.

Dear sir, this is an extremely simple question. Could another candidate stand? Yes or no?

I think our resident Beautiful Mind doesn't (or wants to appear not to) grasp the difference between candidates deciding not to stand (a perfectly normal thing), and candidates not allowed to stand (frequently a bad thing).

The only directly elected people in the whole of the "eu" machinery are the members of the European Parliament. That's a fact, isn't it.

Same as our parliament in fact. The rest are effectively the same as our Civil Service.

Not the same. We don't elect HoL.

Very very similar, we also don't elect, say, our head of the Civil Service, currently Mark Sedwill, who was appointed, after the previous incumbent stepped down after 6 years !!

True enough, but the House of Lords does not propose and ultimately determine legislation in the UK. All it does is make suggestions as to how proposed legislation can be amended. It can block, but only temporarily.
