I was listening to the soundtrack album for Twin Peaks and then the one for Blade Runner and came to the conclusion my favorite movie soundtrack is Vangelis's Blade Runner music. So whats your favorite movie soundtrack?

Great sountrack. Full of ACDC!

If I had to chose my favourite soundtrack I'd struggle to narrow it down so here's a few in no ranking order.

Good Morning Vietnam
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Matrix
The Crow
Easy Rider

If I had to chose one of the above list, as in forced with a gun against my head I'd have to go for The Crow. Its so dark from The Cure's opening song "Burn" To Cant rain all the time at the end.

Vangelis did a few movie soundtracks.
Chariots of Fire
Mutiny on the Bounty.

Vangelis - Themes. Superb album... includes 3 tracks from Blade Runner.

shame that I can't stand to watch anything with Tom Cruise in it anymore. But not a bad soundtrack.

Depends on my mood at the time.

If I'm feeling jazzy, anything by Lalo Schifrin (Bullitt, Dirty Harry etc) will do the trick.

Casino is another favourite, but Bernard Herrmann's score for Taxi Driver is a work of genius, shame it was the last thing he did.
