Just looking at tidying up a CBF500 which has a bit of a bashed set of clocks with a couple of cracks and snapped off mounting lugs. Genuine sets of clocks tend to fetch £100-150 on ebay, but I spotted these replacement speedo casing from China. Anyone tried anything like these? Guessing they're not as good as genuine Honda stuff, but interested to know if they'll do the job or if they're just a complete waste of money.

It appears the CB900/CB600 2002-07 shared same clocks as CBF500, so I'm fairly sure stuff will swap over...

For £24? If it even looks like they'd fit it's not much of a gamble! It's the waiting about for the parts that's annoying.

Used a set on a hornet.

They're good. No complaints.

Same on a CB400SF - direct fit. No messing around. Seems resonable quality.

Sweet. Have ordered a set, will report back in a month when they turn up from China. Fingers crossed the customs/vat man doesn't hit me with tonnes of fees as over the £18 threshold... Confused

You should be fine: the Chinese are smart enough to mark down the value for the export ticket.

Unlike the fecking 'muricans Sad
