Agreed, although this is probably the first time (era) that anyone would take notice of you verses the powerful elite and not just laugh you away.

Maybe, but the prospect of a few million dollars for a prostitute sorry "masseuse" probably isn't bad either. Actually "masseuse" could prove to be a doubly lucrative career in a world of smartphones, charge them once for the "massage", then charge them again either through blackmail with their wife or threaten to report them to the cops for sexual assault if they are loaded. Even more extreme a criminal gang + older looking 15 year old drug addict + hidden camera = $$$$$.

WHY?

You then have to fight your case through the courts.

Far better to wait years, so there is no hard and fast evidence. Or even better wait till they are dead and can't contest your claim.... Rolling Eyes

Not necessarily. Ive supported plenty of people who were abused and its not the same as if you had your shed burlged.

Unless you've been directly affected then you can't judge. Abuse isn't straight cut and done - takes a long time, if at all for many to speak out.

I'd been following the case.. or the case had been following my news feed.. I don't know which one.

No surprise the tin foil hats have come out. Epstein was taken off suicide watch only 6 days after his previous suicide attempt. He was sharing with another inmate, the typical protocol after removal of suicide watch. His inmate was removed on the day of his death and not replaced. The two guards who were meant to carry out 30 min checks, apparently fell asleep and falsified records, because they hadn't checked on him for 3 hours.

Following the incident, Guards were placed on administrative leave, However, the warden, who was responsible for removing the suicide watch and other inmate, was 'punished' with reassignment.

Pretty lenient, considering how high profile the case is.
