Hey all.
As the title says I am new to bikes, I have had my license and bike for about a month.
I purchased a 2007 Hyosung GV650 from a guy who decided to get into bikes later into life and then realised it was no good for him.
Apart from a mark on the tank where he dropped it the bike is in damn near perfect condition. With only 2000kms on the clock i have been told the engine is hardly run in (i have no idea if that is true or not, just what i have been told).
So far i have taken the back rest off, i have tried to take the rear foot pegs off but unfortunately one sides botls rounded and i cant seem to get them off..

I am looking at a few mods, mainly alternative indicators and grips.
I have seen some indicators advertised on facbook that double as brake lights and indicators for reaar and driving lights and indicators for the front.
As for the grips i am tossing up between heated grips and something textured, haven't made my mind up yet.
I am also looking into footboards, but i cant seem to find anyone that sells them so they will have to wait.

I look forward to reading all about other peoples bikes and becoming a member of this community.

Unfortunately, those aftermarket lights may not comply with Construction and Use regulations, or MOT requirements. If that sort of thing worries you or if you would like to minimise the chances of unwelcome attention, check the legalities first. I think indicators have to be spaced a certain width apart, etc. An ordinary policeman might not notice or know about the specifics, but a traffic plod might.

You realise that those two requirements certainly aren't mutually exclusive, right?

I'll admit I haven't actually seen many in person, only really looked on the net.
I wouldn't mind seeing what other people have done to theirs but I don't know anyone else who owns one.
