Hi everyone, I fitted my Aprilia RS 50 2004 with a 90cc big bore kit:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RACING-90cc-BARREL-CARBURETTOR-LEVER-CH-KIT-for-APRILIA-RS-50-EXTREMA-BL/362444979747?hash=item5463677e23:g:fmYAAOSw2k9csN9m

However I ran into an issue- when attempting to start, it would not ignite. I tried turning it over for a while and It started up and some white smoke came out (A bit of WD40, I think) then after a few seconds it shut off and would not start. I tried for hours, it is sparking, a little white smoke comes out when I hold the ignition for a while. i am getting little bits of fuel dripping out where the exhaust attaches when it hold the ignition, but that takes like 5 minutes. I took the carb off and held it at the correct angle and turned the choke on and fuel did not come out at all, even when I turned the throttle on to full. I looked at the diagram and it said that the front nipple on the carb is for a vacuum pump (which the 2004 edition does not have and the listing clearly states that it fits my model). so I am asking if I need to connect a fuel vacuum pump, If so which one? or could it be another problem? Thanks
Regards, Nico

If this nipple is not being used ,blank it off with a plug , temporarily a short length of pipe with a machine screw in one end would do the job, you can get a proper blanking plug later.
The reason the bike will not run is that no vacuum can be created with this vacuum port left open! Therefore the carburettor will not work, or even the choke, if the exhaust is not fitted I suggest you fit that too.
From your post I would also say you are very inexperienced, I would get the work you have done checked by someone with a bit of knowledge

Looking at the ad I would add that from the photo's it also shows an assortment of main jets, so the next job after getting the initial start and basic running is to then tune the carb to set the top end mixture. Don't expect to take the bike out on the road and it to run correctly ,it probably won't !
l
Last but not least, are you actually insured to ride this machine on the road with this major modification? Probably not, too much power for your licence, and your insurance company will declare you uninsured if and when you have an incident, you are not the first ,nor the last to do this mod, that's why it's being sold for " Racing"

It's not supposed to. Have you ever heard of a venturi.
