Hi, i got a problem with my nsr 125 (zdcjc22b)
I have upjetted carb, carbon membranes, br9eix ngk iridium
So 2 days ago he was equiped with air filter OEM sport, my carb was full of misery and unregulated, 0-100 very slow 130km/h max speed in 6th speed at 9000rpm.
I took of the sport filter cuz “alain in his nsr 125 tips said original airbox is the best” , so i put the original airbox and i go to mechanic to clean and adjust my carburretor, after this my nsr goes really fast to 0-100km/h i have 105 in 4th speed 6000-7000rpm and he locks there, rest of 4th speed is uselist, 5th speed, 6th speed too.

What could be the problem ?

Sounds like a speed limiter, especially if it gets there really easily but then hits a wall.
If you slow down and bang it into 6th will it accelerate to 105?

I dont think is an speed limiter cuz before when carb was full of misery and unrregulated he goes to 130kmh but very very slow 0-100

And now it goes very fast to 0-100 and at 105kmh locked

If i slow down and i go in 6th speed he reach 105 and locks

So it's getting to the same speed but with different revs?

Go and ask your mechanic what else they fucked with.

It won't be something mechanical. It'll be a change on either the induction, exhaust or ignition systems.

Edit: unless it has a power valve that's not working.

Yes it is.

Details about this bike are spread across two other threads.

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=328671

It's a 1998 "NSR 125 (ZDCJC22B) - i think french".
