The last thing I would do is actually wear it when riding the bike. Why? Well firstly there's the history of it. Dropped? Might not be marked but a carpeted concrete floor could have devastating effects of it's structural integrity.
I mention actual strength because it's obviously a lid designed for a different market - a market where people are smaller. Asia. British Standard? Anyone can fake an official sticker these days.
Sure I'm aware that shops can drop lids too but to be fair I trust them more than a seller on Marketplace.

Yeah that's fair enough.
There didn't appear to be any internal structural anomalies showing on the black painted foam surface which I know doesn't absolutely guarantee absolute integrity but I'll take a chance anyway.
Its more of an exercise in experiencing one of the cheaper brands and whether I can live with it or not in terms of comfort, wind noise and component quality.
I'm confident enough with it in terms of protection from my visual inspection.

Yup if that lid can be sourced in a genuine UK shop and has genuine safety standards attached then it's an ideal route into buying other brands of lids.

A small RSJ to span across my garage for the strapping up of things and eventual installation of a Beastmaker
and chin up bar. It will be built into the side walls when they get up to the required height. Idea shamelessly nicked
from Chris-reds garage thread. £100 well spent.

Bike lift, bike turntable? Get it in now before you fill it with fridge freezers and washer driers, old clothes, decorating gear etc etc Laughing

The current garage aka the 8x12 shed will be all but redundant for bike storage purposes. That crap can go in there.
This garage will be as sacred turf as her studio is. I'm considering a lock on the inside of it and not issuing her with a shutter fob Laughing

A new house, now the baby isn't a baby anymore we needed more space. Think we've found a decent place to grow into. But no garage....

Pack of 5 oil filters for the Enf, £8.00. They're usually £6.50 each. Should last me a few years Smile

I've filed down the teeth marks. Shocked

Stripped it down right down and cleaned it with disinfectant. Sick

Hey...I've dirtier things betwixt my lips.

It's a lovely instrument and sounds wicked.

A new 3/8 inch rachet because one of mine sheared off this morning whilst I was undoing the front wheel.

My latest purchases will be arriving TODAY, bought a couple of small power banks for charging my toys on the road. I already have a couple in my top box but need spare ones.
