I never liked the slimey git. I always though him and Blair belonged in the same oily bath but he's gone even further down in my estimation with his book promoting 'revelations'.

Cameron: I did not ask the Queen to do ‘anything improper’

https://home.bt.com/news/uk-news/cameron-i-did-not-ask-the-queen-to-do-anything-improper-11364395913141

He told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “I don’t want to say anything more about this, I’m sure some people would think it may possibly even be that I have already said perhaps a little bit too much.”

Then say nothing you disgusting little turd. Don't drag the Queen down to your level of self serving, snivelling, cockroachian level of perfidy to try and make yourself look a bit better than you have any right to look.

Scumbag

Edited to add - Queenie is not amused.

Palace’s ‘displeasure’ at David Cameron’s indiscretion over Queen comments

I'm waiting to hear his justification for using public money and resources to send out pro-remain propoganda to every household in the UK just before the EU referrendum.

Bit of a history of using nefarious means in an attempt to manipulate the results of referrendae.

Been listening to bits of interview on LBC and he's still a slimy t*sser who you couldn't trust to do the weekly shop never mind run a country.
He's of that brigade (like many of them) who care about no-one. They care only about their own career, even if it means bringing a country (and its people) to their knees.
His arrogance brings bile to my throat. One of the few people I'd slap for no reason.

Aye, just like Boris.

The same Boris who led the Leave campaign and then, when it accidentally won, vanished and left a bunch of remainers to sort it out? That "do-er"?

Poor memory. He didn't even stand for selection in the 2016 Tory leadership campaign. He went quiet and disappeared.

It's quite sad how he's come snivelling out of forgotten mediocrity to push his new book.

I wonder if it mentions how he was so cock sure of the public wanting to stay in the EU, that he'd not had the sense to plan for losing the referendum?

Farage pushed him to have to hold a referendum and it looks like Farage may well end up being the threat which pushes Boris to actually leave.

He's clearly too left wing for you.

A poor and often used excuse.

He wasn't in charge was he? He was running for PM, so would have been in charge and we'd have left by now, if the remain Tories didn't vote in remain Maybot.

I don't think they were asking for volunteers. Farage volunteered and was told to do one by May.

It was such a shame when he lost the leadership campaign to May. </sarcasm>

I think he knew he wouldn't get the support at that time and decided to wait it out. Boris is often ridiculed as a buffoon, but in reality he's no idiot. He ran when he knew he would win.
Whether you like him or not if he had been in place instead of Maybot I think it's likely that we would have left already with some kind of deal and while I expect the screeching would still be going on and a campaign to re-join would be in full swing, the country would at least be moving forward.
Instead, here we are.

TBH, I don't think he really wanted to win this election either, judging by his behaviour (and his obvious absence) on the Tory party hustings.

Agree, maybe if Boris had got in last time instead of a remainer we wouldn't be in the mess we are now. As things stand, I think the EU finally realise they now have to deal with a PM they can't p1ss around with.

The problem for Cameron is that he lives among the upper middle classes, and despite the denials of remainers, the upper middle classes are in fact mostly remainers. For that result Cameron is trying to make his friends and neighbours hate him less for causing an outcome they don't like (Brexit).

He's going to go down in history as the PM who started all this shit and then fucked off.

Much like Tony Blair is only remembered for lying about WMDs so he could coin in some votes from a lovely war. Worked for Maggie Smile

I don't think he can be blamed for starting it, as public pressure for a referendum was growing and it would have had to happen eventually.

What he can be blamed for is the ignorance that it never crossed his mind that he might lose.

I think if we have learned one thing from this whole debacle it's that MPs can do what they damn well please.
