So he wasn't actually in court for farting, that waqs just mentioned as a means of establishing a pattern of behaviour.

He was in court for crashing his car while stoned, he was taken back to the station and strip searched for beinga dick. While I believe it shgouldn't be illegal to be a dick in front of the police, there is a time and a place and while being caught bang to rights for possession and driving under the influence is not it. That's the time to wind your fucking neck in and hope they drop your stash it down the drain/into their trouser pocket and give you a ticket for a road traffic offence.

I think he did get charged with farting.
"Cook, of Anne Street, Stonehaven, previously pled guilty to possession of cannabis and to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and screaming aggressively, displaying aggressive body language, making a lewd remark towards police and “intentionally flatulating” in the direction of police."
But yes he is obviously a complete twat..
If he had kept quiet he may have got away with a warning for the cannabis.
