Borderlands 3. Its pretty good, I'm not very far into it but I do miss Handsome Jack calling me a little bitch every so often. I do like the new Vault Hunters and the addition of some characters from TFTB.

Fingers crossed for some Bunkers and Badasses DLC!

I completed Super Mario World on the Snes Classic mini. Only a little thing, but I am very proud of it.

Did I not say it wasn't a big thing? I am also on the final world of Super Mario 3 (on the NES classic) and I'd say that's a harder game.

I have achieved better things in my life, but for last weekend? It's pretty decent.

Fair point. I'm going to buy the N64 mini when it's released to have another crack at Super Mario 64. It's going to take longer than a weekend to complete that though.

Right at the end of Divinity Original Sin 2. Co-op'd with my OH.

Gears 5 is lined up next. Hopefully better as a duo, eh?
Did you play solo or grouped, King29?
Though I must say every Gears game I've played I've always been a little unimpressed, not a lot there for me, personally.

I am thinking of buying Link's Awakening (remake of the game boy game) for the Switch (B'day next month), but also wondering if I'll play it, having used my Switch for about 30 hours since I bought it 18 months ago!

I've heard rumours, but my understanding is that Nintendo took existing open source emulators and put them on a Wii alike platform to make the NES and SNES classic minis. I think the N64 is a LOT harder to emulate, and will need more powerful hardware.

That's not to say if one is produced I won't buy it, but I don't expect one this year. Happy to be proven wrong, but I think it will take a fair amount of development, and will it be financially viable? Who knows.

Train Sim World 2020.

I got it on the base PS4. Not the best performance, nor visuals (resolution), however it is very entertaining and very detailed, very nice esthetics of the tracks and places. I used to play all the Train and Flight sims outhere, then people/devs lost the interest and no such new games were released, until not that long ago, when they released Train Sim World and now updated version Train Sim World 2020.

I'm still awaiting the new Microsoft Flight simulator.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a 80's BR Class 45 locomotive to get from Manchester to Leeds.

Perhaps don't chant about a game before sinking 20+ hours in.

Borderlands 3 was shit when I started, its actually decent now I'm in to it. But I've been on it for 15-18 hours.

You mean Super Mario 2, not Doki Doki panic reskinned and called Super Mario 2?!

Just finished Super Mario 3 too. I'm not sure I have lost levels on either my NES or SNES classic, will have a look.

dunno if they still do them, but I once bought a games console I saw on a shopping channel for about £20. It had 64 games in 1 or something.

Anyway, basically it had a cartridge in labelled do not remove. I removed it, and tried a jap import nes cart in it and it worked.

I'd basically bought a Famiclone Laughing

Days Gone (PS4)

My brother got this when it was released. I got to play it last night. Riding a motorcycle around, killing zombies (or whatever they are) and burning down their nests while crafting stuff and fighting other people and trying to survive.

So far, 6/10. On foot action and combat are average. The physics/riding model of the bike is just odd, with very unstable frame rate, making riding the bike even more unpleasant. Not to criticise much, but it is a game about a lad with a bike, so one would assume the bike part would be more polished.

Mortal Kombat 11 free weekend. Enjoying it so far. Update on Gears of war 5. After stuffing a good few hours into it I can conclude it's OK, the 2nd act just dreadful but the rest OK. No real replay value, just so so, multiplayer fun. Overall 7/10.

MK11 for the free weekend trial, enjoying it so it's 40% off for the trial weekend so I might as well buy it.

I played Gears 5 through to the end, no different from any of the other GOW games I've played (not a fan). Thank God I didn't pay for it, well not directly, Game Pass for FTW.
Since then I've also played through Vampyr, ok but some of the bosses have similar mechanics (run around in circles to avoid them, dig in a couple of hits, but don't get greedy) So running around in circles for 15 minutes, hoping they don't catch you wrong Razz . Ending was a little cheesy too.

Currently co-op-ing Styx, and waiting for Outer Worlds.

Hell Let Loose, Flying Circus and Bodenplatte (last two are both part of the Ilyushin 2 Sturmovik Great Battles series).

Not at all. It's actually having time to play it. It took forever to install. I have played about 30 minutes worth and am enjoying it. I might get some more minutes/hours in later on. I got the Xbox one version, £49.99 seems well spent at the moment.

Ridiculous amount of time. Can't knock the game though, I like the back to basics approach. None of the flying around or wall running shenanigans of past versions.
The campaign has been excellent so far. Thumbs Up
