I've been working on a new version of the forum this weekend, and it's finally ready for testing. To give it a try click here

The major new feature is an updated design - I've tried to give it more of a clean look, and you can choose from several colour schemes. Once you log in to the test forum you can choose which one to use by editing your profile.

Take note:
  • You can't post or view attachments in the test forum
  • You can't make changes to your avatar, if you do - you'll break it on both forums
  • Both forums share the users and posts database so they appear mostly identical, but some things may not be in sync
I'd appriciate your opinions on the new look, and as usual if you spot any bugs please post them over in the bug forum.

There are some things I like about the new forum, although i prefer the old one. (Even though it looks the same as most phpBB forums).

Things I like about the new design:
- The way the logo sits half in the table at the top. Although the current forum looks less cluttered/tidier.
- I like the bar/table at the top with the help, search, members... links. And the login register table.
- The border around the avators. Just looks neater.
- You can choose a colour scheme.

Things I think should stay the same:
- The colours. Current colours sit nicely as a background. The new colours are maybe a little bright compared to the white.
- I prefer the white borders splitting the threads in the chat areas. The darker ones in the new design look a little 'obvious'.
- As a whole I prefer the current design for the opening/home page. The new design has some nice bits but it seems a little divided by the different sections.

Basically I like both forums, although i probably prefer the current one.
If the above doesn't make sense just ignore me, I'm not even sure what I'm trying to say Cool

btw, korn how have you found the time for all the new stuff on the forum. Keep up the good work, much appriciated.
