Awful female white van driver in central London

This is something that happened to me whilst doing my pest control job. I carry supplies in a box on the back of my scooter and travel around to different restaurants, food stores and some residential places.

I know how to get around busy traffic on a scooter politely, I'd like to say I'm a pretty competent road user and can take advantage of 2 wheels when it's busy.

I came upto a T-junction packed on both double lanes, cars and busses moving along tightly, no good way for me to get accross the oncoming traffic to take a right turn. I sit at the junction and study the lights that are about to change on my right, hoping this will give me a gap to make my turn.

However! whilst sitting waiting, my bike is nearly knocked to the ground by a van behind me. I turn around to face 2 women sitting up in their big van urging me to move, I'm totally shocked and throw my hands up in angered confusion. I was expecting a sorry hand gesture to excuse clumsy footwork, but instead I am rammed forward once more and fully thrust out into the two lanes. Now the lights are going orange and there are cars racing to beat the lights. I'm now a shit hurtling towards the fan, luckily the cars coming on my right notice the event and react well enough that I get across to the other side.

I'm writing this feeling really angry and upset, I felt an urge to type out this story. I'm still appalled by how self righteous those ladies where behaving! I'm the one in front of the junction and I'm the one to know If it's clear, the two of them where sitting behind 2 meters and I know didn't have the same view as me looking both ways.

It's typical for white van drivers to behave poorly, however I've been unfortunate to have been introduced to the female white van driver. Such a driver possesses select negative attributes from both demographics to create a scooter ramming bully, ridiculous!

Between reading this and your other thread, you seem to have a lot of bad luck on two wheels. I'd be seriously considering another career if I were you.

Out of interest, who is your pizza franchisee (ie who owns the store, because Domino's isn't your direct employer)? I spent some time in their system a few years back and when my son mentioned it as an employment opportunity for himself I told him absolutely not.

I had something very similar happen by a Prius driver near Piccadilly Circus, nudged me once at a red light so as I went to see what he hit he did it again pushing the bike from under me. He obviously then drove off.

Rear facing camera got it and his insurance paid out for it all.
