Honda FES 125 swing fuel stutter problem

I am new to the forum and have a problem with a 2010 Honda FES125 swing and wonder if anyone can help.

When running, the engine tends to stutter, with a small drop in revs and then return, under load it can stutter more. It is more prevalent in the 5000 to 7000 rev range. It sometimes cuts out at idle with no restart unless I switch off and turning on again. Checked and changed filters, fuel and spark plugs.

Is there any obvious issue known on these scooters? assume a fuel problem but unsure?

have you tried a new plug cap? There fairly common to break down. Also running on shell 97 helps too.

When was the last time the fuel injector and feed pipe cleaned?

Will try new cap, yes cleaned fuel jets recently as part of solving problem, haven't tried different fuels but used additives to clean system too. Still no joy

Apologies, I mentioned fuel jets, I meant to say fuel injectors and feed pipe have been looked at recently and still a problem. Many thanks

Hi there, tried lots of things recommended on fuel issues, changed spark plug, plug cap, fuel pump, cleaned fuel lines and ejector but turned out to be an electrical fault linked to the fuse box. It was an intermittent issue apparently caused by a loose fuse. Seems to be working OK now. Hope this helps and thanks.
